A good start

A good start

A Poem by Rudi J.P. Lejaeghere
"

Start every day with a smile and get it over with. W.C. Fields

"

Just like the dew droplets on the blades of grass,

jewellery that glitters as the stars

in the light of the morning that awakes,

I am walking between these little rainbows,

a wondering way past little miracles,

the silver on the web of the spider

that shivers in the morning breeze,

the shiny and mystery track of the snail

on the step stones

before the house,

the blackbird that begins the day

with a free concert

and the wind whispering his words

between the leaves of the tree,

it’s a poem that is reciting itself,

a never-ending story,

a song that is never the same,

I’m humming an air of happiness,

it’s a good start of my day.

When life and poetry flow out with ease. Always a good day. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
