Unaware

Unaware

A Poem by Sean

I went for a walk looking for treasure,
I came back with twenty-four cents.
That's what comes from staring at the ground,
imagine if I had looked ahead.

I stood beside a railroad
and watched the cars clank by.
Thirteen, painting me with their action.
They bid me, come along.
Front or back, fall in line.
The rear will get somewhere,
but the fore is over quicker.
