ONE-ANOTHER

One Another

 

One knows it all

Another knows an inkling

One swims across the sea of success with vigour

Another is sinking

One is fit for crowning

Another is drowning

One reaches the very top of the ladder

Another reaches the middle rung, panics and shudders

One has abilities that are exceptionally broad

Another tries to convince themselves, they are not a mere fraud One has a mind that is crystal clear and focussed

Other struggles at the pace of an ageing tortoise

One exhibits and values only the fineries of life

Another struggles to pay the rent and is embroiled in daily strife

One sits contentedly

Another fidgets self-consciously

One deliberates pensively

Another worries extensively

One insists upon being judge and jury Another creates hellfire and fury

One has ambitions that are new and fresh and driven

Another has dreams that are long lost and hidden

One smiles at another with conspicuous disloyalty, like an impatient charge to a weary employee

Another smiles at One with hesitant caution, concealing their irreverence of considerable proportions

One thinks they’ve sussed another’s game

Another thinks they’ve been sussed and plays it tame.

are you familiar with the poet Khalil Gilbrain? , I like some of his work, my middle nephew is called Khalil by the way, ( my family originate from Bangladesh) but we were all born here in London, lol

Yes I do. He hails from the same country . He is very esteemed in the Arab and the world at large. His real name is : Gibran Khalil Gibran from Beshirri Lebanon which is a tourist destination and where he is buried and where his museum is. You can google it...

btw...i really WAS in a fix as to how to pay the February and March rent...guess what..i recived some pending payment three hours ago...and that about covers two months and leaves me spare change for...erm black-tea and fresh dog-biscuits...

Me ,in many lines,the font gets tough but I think you know your trade, know it well,smooth ,"sussed and plays tame" hair down in flats,no blues, just shades of fun...
