MEELAN

MEELAN

A Poem by Saddam
"

Meelan is an Indian name. It is derived from a Sanskrit expression meaning "coming together".

"

MEELAN

A walk in the evening, you and I

Sitting at the bench of beach

Seeing the sun, going down into the sea

As flowing water touching our feet.

Setting sun making shadow on the water

Sands reflect its flash and sparks

Tints pranks on her cheeks and shimmer

Soft breeze of west making her slacks.

Her hair dancing with air

She tries to put it under left ear

But spate of flow vagaries her heart

Then she turns toward me and whisper "

LOOK AT "MEELAN" OF EARTH AND SUN

BETWEEN THEM, THERE IS NONE, NO ONE.

Meelan is also a name used in Romance- speaking Europe owing to its Ancient Roman meaning of "eager and laborious".
