Their is something in your eyes

why didn't I see it all before 
It shines with glory
Free and pure
I wish that I could see it in my mirror
But what looks back is. Nothing special
Just a kid not very intellectual
My insecurities over way my beauty
Because of my classmates rude cruelty
I hide and cower behind these towers
Which hide my true desires
Today is the day I wipe the slate clean 
To show the world the real me
Im strong and in power 
All thanks to my shinning flower
Which taught me not cower
But live life to its dying hour
