Sleep...later

This is what happens when im tired but don't want to go to bed.

It's getting late
I forgot to watch the clock
Tick Tock
time sure flies
I want to crawl into bed
and sleep for years
But i can't it's
not nearly late enough
I have books to read,
poems to write,
pages to refresh,
a blog to update
It's getting late
But i cant sleep now
Its not nearly late enough

There are so many more distractions to keep people awake at night now, I might be showing my age here, but the TV used to go off at midnight not so long ago, the only thing you could do after that was listen to the radio. A book always sends me off to sleep eventually, this is a great write about an issue that must trouble millions of people.
