Savior

Savior

A Poem by Miss Shea

Everyday I hear her, she’s all alone and crying
I hear her voice screaming how she’s so sick of trying
She’s a broken beauty; you can see it in her eyes
Engraved deep within the pain, inside with all the lies
She stands so strong behind the stone walls
Even though through life she’s on her knees to crawl
I want to pick her up and set her on her feet
Take her by the hand and make her feel complete
I want to hold her in my arms and wipe the tears away
And help her live to see yet another day
