stuck by reality

stuck by reality

A Poem by $êlvån
"

a bird flys fearlessly till it is shattered by reality....but it think infinite times to start flight next time...

"
Flying high i never measured my depth,
but when i feel apart,
those moments hurt me a lot,
which i spent endlessly,
waiting to reach my ground.....

Rain drops never constrained my fly,
but few tears were bit too heavy,
unable to move any further,
i compromised with my destiny,
and made a harsh move,
a move not to return,
a move not to go further,
but to quit my journey,
and quit my breath.....

I rejoiced for being so cheerfull,
and least i bothered for wings,
but its you,
and not my strength,
that made me dream,
that made me fly....

If ever you pass my way,
just give your minute glance,
would integrate my shattered wings,
and find a reason,
to grow in green,
and mature to stay,
and bloom in trees,
rather in flying in blue,
rather than flying in heights.....

Very nice......and love---ly poem, I love the stanza

Rain drops never constrained my fly,
but few tears were bit too heavy,
unable to move any further,
i compromised with my destiny,

It shows the ability to understand something ...... sacrificing for something more important that life.......................Very beautifully crafted :-)

I really love your poem. There is a deep meaning on the first stanza.
"Flying high i never measured my depth, but when i feel apart, those moments apart, those moments hurt me a lot which i spent endlessly, waiting to reach my ground...."

A dream even while in flight, of a greater reason for life and the experience of living. Nice write!

Powerful lines:

"Rain drops never constrained my fly,

but few tears were bit too heavy,

unable to move any further,

i compromised with my destiny,

and made a harsh move,

a move not to return,

a move not to go further,

but to quit my journey,

and quit my breath.....''
