NIGHT AND I

NIGHT AND I

A Poem by Red Rose
"

That moment of satisfaction when it's just you and the loud sky...

"
Under the centuries old tree I sat,
Gazing at the millions of iridescent stars above me,
Winking playfully, sending chills down my spine
Never ceasing to amaze me.

Hands behind my head, I breathed in deep
letting the scent of the dying embers tickle my nose.
Exhaling a week's stress,
I felt at peace.

A gentle breeze played with my long curly hair,
while the soft grass danced in the wind.
Enjoying their prominent company,
I smiled to myself.

Envisioning the next escape from reality to experience nature at its best,
I felt sparks of excitement course through my veins.
But right now I closed my eyes, living the moment,
Feeling my spirit hover and ride into the infinite darkness.
It's just me and the night sky...

You are welcome ☺💜
Yes, I just did..

Well little painful but yet a punch full of emotions and complete story narrated via this poem. It look deep and even more than I thought. Good figure of speeches you used. Personification, Metaphor, etc. Well very well standing and excellent write up.

Would advise, if that helps, just stretch your work. I believe it, can be more detailed and longer to hold back the interest(s) of the reader!!

Kudos!!

Cheers!!
Singh :)
