Weeping Willow

Weeping Willow

A Poem by Shane-Ashley

I take a metal marker n draw a line
a straight vertical line
that runs from my wrist
all the way up my arm
I always miss my mark
I dont intend to cause myself harm
Thats not my intention
Strange how just the mention of a name
Can cause so much pain
I never aim to kill
Only to mame and to numb
my physical torment is easier to bear
than the pain of a broken heart
