I wish

It's my true feeling.

 

I wish I could write

like my favorite poets

I wish I could find delight

In my own poems

 

I wish I could express

my thoughts on paper

I wish I could impress

people with my writing

 

I wish my words could flow

perfectly together

I wish I could throw

a poem together

 

I wish I could rhyme

more then 3 words

I wish I could say "I'm...

an amazing poet!"

 

I wish people would say

that they love my writing

I wish I could sway

people with my words

 

I wish I could win

a poetry contest

I wish not to chagrin

When others read my poems

 

I wish, oh how I wish 

To have talent in poetry.
