Sun Struggle

Sun Struggle

A Poem by Sharon Jodock-King

Come out Sun with your rays so warm
Upon skin longing to feel
Once again heat after you were hidden
In winter clouds of dark
Cover that would not show
The beauty of your brightness
Come out old wise one and show
Your face upon pale skin
That longs heartily to see
Your appearance come behind the clouds

You see :>

We always look at the sun as this majestic invincible thing, but here it feels as You are encouraging her to wake up from her weakness, to shine bright again, as if You become her and she becomes You, leaning on each others, You get strength from her and she from You, and what a wonderful idea and feeling is this to be my dear✨🌞😊

You read my mind! Winter seems forever. Cold feels eternal. And yet, the sun steadily returns, days growing longer. Soon the crocus will raise its head. Until then, I wait. Soon enough, the sun will warm my poor bones. Already, faint goose calls hint of trails still to be explored.
Love the joy here. Bright words or a dark winter day. A wonderful call to Spring.

Beautiful, is there anything better than the warmth of the sun shining through our windows. Hang on Spring is on it's way.
