I am here.

Here to be seen

not to be watched.

I am here.

Here to be heard

not listened to.

I am here.

Here in all my being

all my soul.

And if this soul

is crushed and broken

there is no going back.

I am here.

I am like glass.

I am like fire.

If you try to put me

back together piece by piece

I will draw blood.

If you try to light me

back on flames by striking twigs

it will not be me who rises.
