The Wise Old Snowy Owl

The Wise Old Snowy Owl

A Poem by Sheri Haynes
"

I have always loved animals since I was young, and one of my favorite is the snowy owl, looking into his yellow made me wonder what he was thinking when he was looking at me?

"

White silky feathers set upon majestic wings that spread in silent flight.

Perched motionless on a branch is the wise old snowy owl.

As darkness falls, a soft rhythmic who, who, interrupts the still night.

Yellow eyes that look into mine, I wonder, what do you think when you see me?
