This was a poem that I wrote with one of my middle school friends my freshman year, perhaps? Every other verse is him, starting with the second.

I guess it seems impossible

That things could feel so right

Every time i look at you

Or just when you're by my side

The easy things can seem so hard

When I see you everyday

Like looking into your eyes

Or speaking without mistake

I have no right to feel this way

I know that much is true

But I just don't think that I could last

One single day without you

You make me hurt

So much more than I can take

But somehow I think we know

We got there much too late.
