Game On

inspired by a Lady Gaga song (I bet you can't guess which one) and a good amount of poker, this was an odd poem for me to write but one that I enjoy nonetheless.

Right now, its time
for a game with a twist
that’ll take you for a ride
and if you play with me, boy
you’d better play it sly.

Now come along
and follow me
the games about to start
and if you play it wrong, boy
well, its gonna break your heart.

Watch closely, cause this game is rough
and honey, there's no rules
there's no play by play and I’m the judge,
You’d better hope that you don’t lose.

Now this game, it ain’t easy
few people ever win
just grab a chair, then slide on up
and I’ll be sure to deal you in.
