It only takes a simple second to say.
How hard can it be?
N-O.
That's your problem.
You can't simply say no.
You try to please everyone.
You become a door mat.
Can you...? yes.
Will you...? yes.
Do you want to...? yes.
Yes is just one letter longer.
Why is it so much easier to say?
Why do you have to please everyone?
Why not make yourself happy?
Can you say no?
Is it in you to say that simple word?
No.

Good analogy here with the way you reveal this to the reader...there is a trait...an enabler who cannot say "No"...even if it is as simple as two letters...yes...on the other hand gives and again the "Enabler" person does not act on conscious behavior...but rather impulse...that's why they can only say, "Yes"...
