Father

Father

A Poem by Sierra Christine
"

Venting, started as a rap, now it's here, enjoy.

"
What kinda father calls his daughter a b***h
Preaching that holy s**t but you're just a dick
remember that bruise you left from that kick?
"From December? Its in the past"
Sure the bruise healed fast
But the emotional pain will always last
you haven't hit me in over a year
But every name is another tear
Found love in another man
Think you're jealous because he can
Do everything for me and you can't
Yeah both your names start with a J
But his love outshines yours any day
Got rhymes up my sleeve and scars too
I pray that I'll never end up like you

dark, deep and it certainly hit its mark really felt the emotion through. There was a small ironic quality in the poem "i pray that I never end up like you" but earlier on the father was commented on for "Preaching" showing this paternal link between the two. Blood runs through out the family, but actions do not.
