Liquor

Liquor

A Poem by Sierra Christine

So you're feeling down,
Guess it means it's that time again.
Let's be honest,
You hate the taste.
You have to swallow hard to get it down.
And let's not forget about keeping it down.
It lifts your spirits then drops them.
You just want to have fun right?
What's a few shots?
You wake up unaware of what happened last night.
So did you have fun?
Who knows.
Your told some kid had his hands down your pants at one point.
You vow never to drink that much again.
But when you're down you just want to be lifted up.
So swallow hard,
Drink up,
Here's to you.

Just a teenage girl that loves writing, isn't that why we are all here? Note that my poetry isn't elegant and you don't have to think hard about it. I'm very straight forward and get to the point. Mos.. more..
