Beauty Survives.

Beauty can be loved, hated and envied.

Something so beautiful your eyes find it hard to see, you can find it hard to be.

Beauty can be adored, congratulated and taken seriously.

Something so different from your normal life, something that gives you a slight... Satisfaction of what someone really lives like.

Beauty doesn't have to be you, doesn't have to be me, it has to be something 'you' see.

Something that lives in your heart and will never escape.

Something that foreshadows your life in one beautiful way.

this is well done how the softness of language and tone match the font characters and sentiments. "Beauty can be adored, congratulated and taken seriously." stands against the norm of objectifying, and makes the entire piece not only well written but worthwhile. thank you.

Beauty is something beyond the eye's glance - so I kinda disagree with the first line of the third stanza. I think you don't really have to see beauty, you can just...feel it. But looking at the rest of the poem, I suppose that was your point.

I agree with Coyote Poetry, outer beauty may fade, while inner beauty is everlasting. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder and can be found anywhere.
I enjoyed reading this, it is in good form and flows nicely.
