Writer's Block
By: Adam M. Snow

I am lost without inspiration;
I cannot think, my thoughts are empty.
A sudden expectation
of words I cannot see.

I try that I must but I cannot write;
the ink in my hand, an outspoken sanity.
No inspiration, not of the night;
I am lost to insanity.

Wow, you've just wrote the perfect poem for writers block, not even I could do that with my won writers block. I tip my hat to you good man for capturing such a feeling that many have felt from one time to another as there is such dificulty to capture such a feeling; well done.

Adam when I can't think of something to write I go someplace to change my perspective. Carry a journal with you and you might see something that draws inspiration from you. I find my hardest times of finding inspiration are when I am sitting in front of my laptop. World experiences bring inspiration. Don't lose yourself in not being inspired, find yourself by looking for it in places you wouldn't have looked before.

Do what I do and write a poem that's nothing but swearing. Half the poems I post are nothing but swearing

Darn, poop, heck, See, you can still do it.
I blame it on the ink, refusing to leave the pen...How can it be so rude...I treat it well.....

I don't think suffered but just before you placed the quill to parchment.
Or should I say the finger to the key. None the less a good piece indeed.

Your welcome...!
Captures it very well. It does feel a bit insane when the well doesn't seem to flow. We just have to trust that we are filling up and there will be more eventually.
