The Bearer of False Smile

The Bearer of False Smile

A Poem by Adam M. Snow
"

Ye humble thyself upon thy altar, Calling upon thy bearer of false smile; Lest be known thy truth are lies, Yet oneself ye defile.

"
The Bearer of False Smile
By: Adam M. Snow

Ye humble thyself upon thy altar,
Calling upon thy bearer of false smile;
Lest be known thy truth are lies,
Yet oneself ye defile.
But one day ye would lose thyself,
And thyself would lose thy heart;
And by the month of twelfth be told,
The wake which lies apart.

I really like this, enjoyed. The Old English type of words you love to use, I just love seeing them in your writes more and more with each of your poems. Really nice.

Grave yet angelic and innocent. Sought through the eyes of a child who knows many men.

Wow it seemed like a riddle, you truly write like William Shakespeare at time because I sure didn't understand him half the time either. But, I tip my hat to you and clap my hand in encore! Bravo!

I have to agree with Raven Starhawk, very cryptic. And very well done. What does it profit a man to gain the world and loose his soul?
