A Poem by Steven Pottle

Face to face in a Spanish bed
You breathe out just as I breathe in
A part of you is always in my oxygen.

You know why I loved this sweet, simple penned-piece? Because it seems a if, when you say 'Spanish Bed' that you are refering to a WOMAN'S BODY being your resting place. I'm saving this in my list and you really need to start emailing me the things that you write, Steven. I throughly enjoy reading you. :)

Were you smiling when you wrote this? I see you lying in bed, next to her, with a feline grin, eyes half closed, breathing her in, and breathing you out....

Wish I had thought of this. Excellent work. I think I would have set it out a bit differently though, more in a cross shape. This is possible, please ask!

Very nice, I've experienced this before too. It brings two closer, like having one softly breathe on your neck while asleep. Good poem. T

Cool. I like the idea of somebody you love being an ever present part of you. Just a few words here, but nice imagery.
