Jewels

Jewels

A Poem by Sunshine Kid

Jewels hail from
The open sky
Above her
Below him
Letting them
Rest beautifully
Gracefully
Blithely on
Her elongated
Neck.
Don’t let them
Go
For they show
His love
Don’t let
Their minds
Penetrate your
Innocence
Know your heart
Know your mind
Know your jewels.
They aren’t
Everything
(Although
They willingly believe
It to be
True)
And neither are
You
But you are
Beauty
And love
Which they
Can never
Hold.
These jewels
Are yours
They’re hers
Never let go
Of the treasure.
