For A Day...

For A Day...

A Poem by Surya

Something eloquent in this breeze
Not magniloquence but a promise
And some divinity in its smile and
Tales for life and death

Something peculiar with these nights
Where I can talk long stories
With a king companion who
Awards me some grace of happiness

Delighted not be one in this mankind
But residing in trees and longing for nights
Playing classics with ripples, loving this breeze
Which slowly makes my face

It's a pleasure that I came unto here
And stayed far, I know.
But it's that echoes and silence
In these forests is what makes
My heart fight for my life,
A day more

Mention not!
Love the word choice in this. I can feel the emotion coming out of you driving your musing on the canvas. Great job at the description and nothing is wrong with it. Great job.

Thank you, Richard...:)
The weather in Hyderabad prompted you to write this isn't it? 😀
I love the flow of words, they are as smooth as the breeze in your poem. The scenery you have created is very pleasing and one can easily feel that by your words.

It was my pleasure reading it. ☺
This is the best one of yours that I've read in the past year! I really love this one. It reminds me of my own simple existence in the wilderness, living alone in a rustic cabin, feeling "at one" with God. I love the way you flirt with the idea of God as a companion, yet not strongly enuf to turn away some reader who might have a different way of seeing (or not seeing) divinity. I love the way you describe the sensations of being out in nature, the breeze, the nights, the ripples . . . to me, the divine brushes us with soft caresses all the time & most people aren't paying attention (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
