The silent love between two puppets 😊

There is a silent love,
Between you and me .
This is the truth ,
That I have seen.
For the first time,
you stared at me.
The sparkle in your eye,
Made me realize .
You are not the one,
Who betrays or lies .
You are the one ,who lit up,
the darkness from my life .
Neither by touching nor by saying,
Just by gazing .
You never called me,
You never talked to me,
But I listened,
every single word,
That you wanted to say me.
Now we are traveling,
On the different paths,
Of our lives ,
And there is no chance ,
Again to see you smile.
So this is the silent love ,
Between two of us.
That remained unspoken,
May be forever and more .

When such a connection is made, it is one that will NEVER be forgotten and has the potential to haunt. Silent love...ughhh. I guess it is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all?

puppets say more with actions than words...
these two say so much without ever touching or speaking....there is just a look, a feel, a knowing that the other one is there and having the same thoughts...the same feelings.
Even if they cannot have contact----there is a kind of love that is pure and eternal.

This is brilliantly symbolic of all the times two people go thru life not ever "getting together" (as a couple, or as friends) . . . yet they provide each other with a ton of silent support, just by looking (or i the case of today's interactions, a text message to touch bases). I would venture to say that half of people are in situations where they will NEVER see the person they interact with the most. Relationships & friendships are not happening for many people who are separated by distance or poverty or whatever. So your poem is a symbol of our times, where people are interacting like puppets, since it's all about reaching out, but never about actually touching.
