Sorry

Sorry

A Poem by T. Edana Talbott

Sorry for all the trouble, I don’t mean to be a bother.
Sorry I’ve wrecked the image you created - I’m sorry I’m improper.

Sorry to make things personal, it’s just my way of relating.
Sorry for my careless curiosity - I’m sorry I’m infuriating.

Sorry to have twisted up your words, I’ve grown so sensitive.
Sorry that I made it all so awkward - I’m sorry I’m defensive.

Sorry to have told you my secrets, I just wanted you to get me.
Sorry I’m not entrancing or interesting - I’m sorry I’m not happy.

Sorry for what you put up with, I don’t mean to make things harder.
Sorry I’m the worst friend - a friend who’s just not quite all together.

To Taylor. He's one of the only true friends I have.
I thank him for putting up with me

Trust me, there are worse "friends" out there. You seem like someone whom I could never consider as the worst friend. The fact that this man is still your friend shows that your presence expresses significance. People make mistakes. We may even have issues that others cannot explain. However, your true friends accept you the way you are. I'm sure your friend appreciates you! Anyways, nice poem, as usual!

Thank you Nina, I surely will
i am like this to my only friend to the chain of sorry to the point where he told me don't bother saying sorry it just to make yourself feel better and i guess he was right and then i said sorry for saying sorry he was infuriated but laughed he just told me to tell him as it is because he should be the one to decide what he feels not me always forming his opinions for him with my self serving sorry's i can relate to this completely

Well I always say, if he or she is a true friend, there's nothing to be sorry for.
