When you fall, hands will be there!

When you fall, hands will be there!

A Poem by Terohime

"I found God
On the corner of First and Amistad
Where the west
Was all but won
"

A heavy burden has fallen upon,
a lost soul which shall never be won.

The heavens cry out to a father and son,
for redemption which shall never come.

The weeping souls have begun to fall,
down off this never ending wall.

Who is to catch them when they fall,
To hold them up high and tell them,
to give it there all.

Our faith lies in hands,
So
gentle and calm.

But those same hands,
can do nothing at all.

So keep your faith alive,
and shoot for the stars.

And remember those hands,
so
gentle and kind,
the next time you wish to go blind.

"
All alone
Smoking his last cigarette
I said, "Where you been?"
He said, "Ask anything".
"

I enjoy the sentiment in this and finding it calming.
Few works I read these days including most my own can invoke a peaceful effect on me.
thanks for this.

interesting piece res, i liked it a lot actually, it has quite the powerful message... and im finding out more and more that i enjoy reading pieces about faith... and this is a good one. also it's quite hopeful, which i do like...

also i noticed "genital", was the suppose to be "gentle"?

nevertheless great work here

Thanks for your review.
The thought and emotion in this piece is solid - we all look to that Hand when we fall. And, not sure if this was intended, but the shape of your poem resembles a keyhole -another symbolism, perhaps. I do have one suggestion on spelling - the word "gentle" is, I believe, what you intended. Your spelling ("genital") means something completely different, and may take away from the message in your otherwise lovely piece.

Welcome :) friend.
This writing on faith is one of it's only kind.
To each their own and I firmly believe that.
Very thought provoking and uniquely packaged.
It was great to read, Resnera!
