Walk With Me

Walk With Me

A Poem by Creepy Swine Guy

Walk with me, on summer shores

where the water laps warmly at

our unprotected toes.

Walk with me, through green forests,

still dripping with the fragrance

of cleansing rains.

Sit with me, on the front porch

where the climbing sun burns the

morning fog from the valley.

Sit with me, on the back porch,

where the blaze orange sun

gently bids us good night.

Stay with me. Soothe me with your

soft, gentle words and calming

countenance. Love me.

What? Lemme read this again....yup, Dani is right. Where did this soft, gentle soul emerge from? Ahhhh, what soothing words, what tender thoughts. The last line brings it all together. What'd I tell ya bout that love thang? Get's ya every time. Love is good. It's verra good, and you just expressed a wonderful, hidden desire for it. :)

I just know you are talking about me here. Thanks, such lovely words. Hold on, I will be there soon. I am thinking the swine is getting lonely nowadays. This poem sounds like it is bluer that the blue you normally show us. Is a different side peaking? Must be the spring, I get spring fever also.
To me the poem screams, "I'm here and ready to love." Such sweetness. I didn't realize you had a heart like this, romantic.

Jerry, you are exposing the softer side of the swine here. lol

And it's nice. ;)

Seriously, this is lovely. It truly is. The last two lines really pull it all together perfectly, for in essence that is what the writer is saying throughout. Wonderful imagery! :)

Nice meter and flow as well. Beautifully penned my dear.

It's really good. I love the imegary you used, esp.:

"Where the sun gently burns the
Morning fog from the valley."

Beautiful, truly.
