When You Can't BreatheA Poem by TheLastEclipseI’m not crying, My lungs are though. I can’t be dying! No! These tears of blood
are lying. I am not sad, But simply mad. I never thought of that
possibility, That of you leaving me. So now I sit, I’m alone, to sit here
thinking by myself. I have actually gotten to
know who I am. Life sure passes slow when
you have nowhere to go. But now it passes quickly
because I can’t breathe. I think of you and I think
of me. I see my reflection on the
blank face of the t.v. I’m so lost, Alike to the black pit I
have crossed. This is it, Mouth but I can’t even
spit. The bloody saliva just
drips as I hit the ground. What’s left of my life,
through my mouth, makes disgusting sounds. As I curse illegibly. I think of you and me. Blood running from the
corner of my mouth, I was just an apple from
the south. An arrow that missed, Like your ever-so-loving
goodbye kiss. © 2012 TheLastEclipse |
