Stars Determine Nothing

Stars Determine Nothing

A Poem by TheLastEclipse
"

We are men, men that determine our own destiny

"
The stars in the sky be like Gods,
And tonight they fall on us men,
We shall be ashamed of ourselves,
As we bathe in our own disgrace.
Yea shall failures like us hold still in place.
This shall be the lives of mere men

The stars in the sky are not Gods,
Yet we choose to fall before them like pitiful men.
We embrace the newborn,
That shall save us from disgrace.
We will not stand still and shake in place.
This will be the succession of new men.

This is a quote from one of my characters, Ezza Hiker. I do enjoy this lovely quote. Although it is mine, it did not come from my mind... It came from Ezza
