Broken Trail in Strife

Broken Trail in Strife

A Poem by TheLastEclipse

Crushing my will underneath your cold hand
I try to move on but I can't lose the grip.
When I try to gain my breath I just force myself under again.
I'm a culprit!
What can I say to myself under pressure,
Nothing can force me to feel any more of a lesser,
I am not forgiven or replaced, I'm just all in your face,
Hate me...
Just grow old!
I feel the leaves falling down!
Just lay upon me and force me to disappear.
No response, no idle speech.
Let me feel.
Let the stars just spell my name.
I don't want some sympathy.
Just give a living reason!
Why do your feelings lie to my face?
Cry in your linen and lace!
Stain the purest white with the dark black of your mascara tears.
