Poet's Block

Poet's Block

A Poem by Mark Daniels

I sit at my desk,
writing down ideas of which,
none of them really work.
I look for inspiration,
but i can not find the words.

I think I might have poet's block,
the worst of any kind.
I hope i don't have poet's block,
something i try to define.

I start jotting down rhymes,
and soon find out,
I soon run out of rhymes,
my worst fear come true.

I think I might have poet's block,
and i don't know what to do.
