Class

Class

A Poem by Mark Daniels

There are different classes
in my one lonely school
be it jock, a prep,
or even a fool.

Goth girl, outsider,
everyone's friend.
And the nicknames for these
never seem to end.

Hard-worker, slacker,
teachers pet.
loner, bando,
here, let's make a bet.

Take a hike,
around your school.
Just to find out,
you're not so cool.

so the next time you judge,
someone who's different.
one day you'll end up in their spot.
