your kind of man

your kind of man

A Poem by m.s.early

as a child,
how was
convinced?

only
after
touching
was the flame real,
and
the
mystery
did disappear.

even as
an adult
wonder.

let me look into your mouth;
gape it open.
show me what
vanilla,
bitter,
and
succulent
look like
to you.

or else how
will
go
on
without knowing
what you
believe
is real?

how will I
compete
with your
other
lovers?
how will I learn
to be
your
kind of man?

'your kind of man'
m.s.early,
This poem is really cool! It speaks of the mystery of learning to love and know someone. It speaks of the desire to understand who someone is and why they are like themselves which moves you. Revealing the gem behind whom a loved one really is will be a life long joy and work worth the patience and steadfastness.
Beautiful.
Blessings,
Kathy

if you can't see her blue skies, how will you know that it isn't raining?

or something less vague and mysterious

there are some men that hate mysteries, they want to cut the bird apart to find the song, that's the other Emily, too, she seems to be everywhere today

Yes you are right I have met some of said jerks lol
it's nice to get the perspective of the opposite sex. it's good for a man to express his insecurities. it lets us give you reassurance that you don't have to compete with others because we want you.

I am in no taste testing contest but I know where I stand. The words are fluid, I give you that. I can't answer your question and won't even try to. Nice format but beefy words to engulf a soul that a weak soul would render to. I am weak but this doesn't pull me. Write on, you have it going on - so never give up on your writing skills. I won't puff you up - I just speak my mind. Reviews have become opinions, so screw it, you get my opinion.

This is brilliant. My fave of yours thus far. A woman who loves will never compare her current to those who have come before.:)

Very cool X. I think often these questions run around in our heads...so seldom do we really find the answers.
