i bloomed upon a hillside

i bloomed upon a hillside

A Poem by m.s.early

I bloomed upon a hillside,
backdropped by marvelous sky-scaped canopies.
When Heaven's curtains parted
there stretched mighty stamen,
petals opening,
dew drips following her sweet nape
bowing submissively under glowing Sun.
I bloomed before her folded hands
finished praying at the alter
clasping apostles' names and
releasing scripture spoken
in a language understood
by her and God alone.
The envelope sealed
against the sweet scent of my cologne,
brushed with dreams she designed for me,
noting the Holy Spirit was cultivating our love
in ways only we would know.
My prayers sent to ascend
into love's unfolding ears
may bloom forever in a blessing
granted by the divine.

Your words paint a beautiful scene, Xavier. A peaceful serenade, this. :)

I felt a painting coming into form. I could see you, her and the hillside in a watercolor prayer.

This is a picture perfect writing with spiritual component interwoven, as it is really left for holy spirit to work on the sealed bloomed dream everything will be the way it supposed to be. I am really afraid of holy spirit as it says you can fool around with anyone but not with holy spirit, so I am little cautious do not want to get in trouble, excellent flow, superb imagination, loved the writing

This is a wonderful spiritual, haunting, and romantic poem. As always, I am swept by your words.

Every time I read a poem of yours, eyes open to nature...envelopes open to romance...souls open to the spirit...Excellent...:)...........

gorgeous, and you said what I tried to write today but much much better, this is prime example of talent verses trying, I'll get there one day.

this is quite picturesque..and reminds me a bit of Cat Stevens' song "the boy with the moon and star "
sensual blend of man, woman and nature.
