Angel

Angel

A Poem by John Holmes
"

Random love hungry thoughts/break up

"
It is sad.
That the memories
Of your smile of pearls.
Your eyes.
Your deep deep eyes of sirens songs.
And your voice that cut through me
Like prayer to an Angel.
Bring such raw tears to me.
Such tears that no creature should give
Such a creature as me.
Yet i weep.
You have made the fallen angel weep.
Now i am yours.
The love has corrupted me.
I will not rise again.

Such beautiful emotion... I'm suddenly feeling the need to hug something...a pillow perhaps. Anyway, you've conveyed your feelings very well here and I enjoyed the piece quite a lot. I especially like the line "You have made the fallen angel weep"--so sullen and somber, but beautiful.

Technically:
I would lose the periods, you don't need them. A few syntax things like "Like prayer to an Angel", considering the previous line it would be better as "Like prayers to an Angel". Also "Your deep, deep eyes of siren's songs". Little things really. Overall...totally felt this one!
