The Deep End

The Deep End

A Poem by Daisy Morgy
"

Laced on out tongues like a poison...

"
Here we are
Once again
Drowning
In the deep end
The smoke is thick
Laced on our tongues
Like a
Deadly  poison
The silence rings
Through our ears
Like a thorn
With much too red
Our hearts they hurt
Our lungs they burn
When the air gets
Too thin
You look at me
I look at you
Both of the same
Both filled with shame
For, once again
Here we are
Drowing

In the deep end

Our hearts they hurt
Our lungs they burn ... Heartfelt touching lines ...

I think if nobody gives pain and hurt then nobody'd be there to love you. So .. if there's a love, there's a pain, if there's a pain then there's a heart :)

Oh my bluish eyes Angel .. am gonna give ya 100/100 rating. I loved the write. Your cool.

Wow. This is a really good wordplay. It is witty and very flexible. It can be interpreted in a lot of ways; I liked the way I perceive it, though. It's a good write! :)

Feels like a return to something that one has escaped from. A desire to be rid of the past that keeps pulling you back in. This I liked very much. Made me feel.
