Wolf"s Blood

Wolf"s Blood

A Poem by Tina Kline

Photobucket

Rivers of blood
a wild hungry slaughter
rushing onward a crimson flood
the hunger runs deep
the thirst runs red
she comes to the edge of madness
it's been so long since she's fed

Her white hair glimmers
as white as the snow everywhere
the scent of blood is thick
lingering pinkish in the air
she is so hungry
of that need is all she's aware

Her inner beast takes control
she howls her lethal intent to all who can hear
she is coming, she will kill
a warning to innocents to fear
the beast is out and will consume
hear her howl, know a slaughter is near

Rivers of blood
the werewolf has arrived
her fangs flash white
soon they drip with red
she feasts on her many kills
blood is everywhere
and more humans are now dead

A very vivid and sad poem. Nature is fading away, sometimes it seems mankind is going to gobble up all of it. But there are still lots of wild places. Well crafted wolf poem.

An eerie and frightening werewolf poem. This is how werewolves ought to be.
