A Kid's World

A Kid's World

A Poem by Writing_angel
"

School is described differently by every kid ages 5-18. I wanted to try to incorperate that in this poem.

"

Halls filled with students,
coming and going from class to class.

The fashion crazed,
strutting their stuff.

The Beefy Sport guys,
trying so hard to be cool.

The Out-of-Place teens,
just having their fun.

The Average kids,
found doing different things each day.

The much feared Gothics,
none of which, the same.

The endless supply of Wanna-Be's,
trying so hard to fit in.

And who can forget the Smart Students,
all having fun doing their own thing.

Such a wide diversity becomes problematic,
Such as a misunderstanding between couples.

Such as the Jealousy of others around you.
Such as your friends becoming your enemies.

School is a kid's world.
School is a prison to some.

School is the difference between education and
between the social life of students.
School is court in session.

Every moment judged.
Every moment rationalized.

Every secret discovered.
Every scandal made into school legend.

An adventure awaiting you,
step through our door.

Never will you forget,
The kid's world of school.
