A Pondering Moon

A Pondering Moon

A Poem by Trace
"

A little love poem for dreamers.

"

They met
Where a pondering moon
 Chased waves across the shoreline

Two passionate souls that longed for this moment
When eyes would gaze into the other's
Hands would touch for the very first time
And emotions would pour like a finely aged wine

Words were not needed before lips met
In an embrace they had waited so long for

      So real........
So overpowering as they clung to one another

And they both knew

As their bodies burned with a fire that had been ignited so long ago

This night would not end

With the setting of a pondering moon.

Lovely vignette of passion to come and romance. I love the setting and solitude of these lovers meeting at the ocean side. The beach is always so quiet at night with people far and few in between. It's so beautiful, that i've always pondered why more people do not take advantage of its intimacy. Lovely write Trace! jaycee

Wow. Another sensually romantic and loving poem, beautifully written. An unrequited love becomes a reality, and something both have wanted for a long time comes to pass. Well done.
