Another Star in Heaven

Another Star in Heaven

A Poem by Trace
"

A poem for the departed

"

Look at the gathering sky, as the crimson sun slowly falls,

And listen of whispering shadows, tis the evening calls,

As twilight pushes up the sun, each morning starts anew,

We count our every days delight, each storm or wind that blew,

Our lives are given to the Earth, yet of which they came,

Though our souls are a gift of Heaven, A star without a name,

We choose our paths and lift the cross, burdens we will bear,

And weave in to our tapestry, friend’s sorrows we might share.

Yet when our time on Earth is done, our pains and sorrows quell,

On Angel wings, our spirits glide, with a heavenly chorus swell,

Come nightfall, a new light shines for us, its brilliance we recognize,

For our dear departed loved ones, are the brightest stars in the skies.

the majestic spiritual quality of this one is serene, touching, and beautiful.. it flows like a gentle breeze, uplifting, and moving the soul.. from the picture, to the font, color, construction, and meaning, it is enchanting and deep.. It felt like waves of emotion washing over me guiding me to the sky.. This one touched me on such a level having lost someone very close recently and was comforting in its tenderness and sentiment.. I adore the depth and skill in which you write Trace.. you have such a beautifully romantic spirit that I appreciate and respect.. I am honored to call you friend, and absolutely adore your writing.. stunning job with this one.. it is definitely one of your best, in my opinion..

Spectacular! I'm a huge fan of anything with starlight and starbright....this one was beautifully crafted and so utterly sensitive. It touched me on so many levels. The only thing I would change is the font, because that cursive was a little hard to read. I love how you matched the color to the starlit sky. Beautiful! 100/100
