A need to feel loved

A need to feel loved

A Poem by Horse of a Different Color

A struggle to find my soul mate.

To be alone in a world of millions,
Has a punishment worse than death itself.
Ostracized by society as a social outcast,
Trying to blend in with a black cloud.
The unfortunate hand i have been dealt,
Gets beat in the game of love, every time.
To burden the pain of this broken heart,
Is like dragging a stone twice that of the earth.
Burning for passion,
Lusting for life.
Anyone can look into my eyes and see that flame,
Needing the passion of a lovers kiss.
Craving the tender yet loving touch of a woman,
Yet still it is just me!
Lonely me.
