I Finally Blushed

Just a rough draft..enjoy! :)

So you finally made me blush

just a silly expression of some kind.

Am I really feeling this way?

Or is it just a trick of my mind?

 

So you finally caught my attention

Just by comforting me when I was down,

I've never really felt this way before,

I have no reason to frown.

 

So you're finally the one to fall for me

when really, I thought I was the one falling for you.

Now I think we'll stay together always,

we will pull through.

 

So now we're finally together,

and I know we will never part.

I feel like this could be a new beginning with you,

possibly a new start.

 

I promise to always love you, sweetie.

I promise to never leave you behind.

I now know that when you first made me blush,

it wasn't just a trick of my mind.

Perhaps in a flutter of a heart, perhaps in the perspiration forming upon the brow, perhaps in a tongue so twisted that not a single intelligible word can take form; but there are so many different ways in which we believe we have found that special somebody - that this person is the one. It is not a case of just thinking they are. It is not some vague feeling that they might be. In that moment, in that blush, your body came together and said - tada. Though love lasts only as long as love does, can there be any doubt in the start of it born from a blush?
