Your Average Joe

Made for a 100 word character study competition

Your average Joe isn’t a member of the European Cabbage Association. There’s many possible reasons for this, but I’ve narrowed it down to three: Your average Joe doesn’t see a cabbage as anything more than a vegetable, your average Joe can’t discern the difference between a European Cabbage and an Asian Cabbage, or perhaps more likely, your average Joe doesn’t have time to be a member of the European Cabbage Association. There’s no way that your average Joe would plan to kill a man for the betterment of the cabbage race. Needless to say, Joe is not your average Joe.

I am prepared to lay my life down for the betterment of European Cabbages, who are forced to live in squalid conditions amongst dirt and manure, and given nothing but water to live on. Cabbages, arise!

This is hilarious. I can't stop reading it, it's just too good. Joe reminds me of the cabbage guy from avatar, and now I keep imagining him executing people for knocking over his cabbage cart.
