If I couldn't sleep, could you sleep?

If I couldn't sleep, could you sleep?

A by ~Unashamed Love~

I've come to realize that you only need one person on this earth to be happy, truly happy. It might take a while for you to find that special human being, but eventually you will, and you'll realize it was worth waiting because then you'll feel complete, like a 500 piece puzzle finally assembled.
And you'll stop caring about what others think, how people judge you and look at you because you can be yourself with "your" person and it's the best feeling in the world not to worry about what you say and how you feel.
So don't try too hard to find that person, she/he will come into your life when you least expect it, don't convince yourself that you've found the right person because you'll be let down if you rely too much on a person who's not the right one, both of you will feel it if you're meant for each other.
We don't live in a fairytale, but somehow finding "your" person feels like a bit of magic in this sad, cold world.

Alas, I never really seen why so many people care what others think of them, I personally could care less, but some people stay that path, but eventually stray as you said :D

Sums it up pretty well i think. I only wish there was more of that magic :)

Very true. An enlightening point of view that I whole heartedly agree with. Well spoken indeed. :)

"We don't live in a fairytale".... It's a bit sad to believe the so many people believe in finding their "prince charming" and that it's all wonderful and they'll live happily ever after... all of that crap. But, they try to hard to get there. And that's what really ruins it. The harder you try to find love, the quicker love moves away. Nontheless, an amazing piece. Keep Writing =)

Truly words of wisdom. Too often we try to alter our destiny by trying to make it work with someone we were never supposed to be with. I've done that more times than I care to remember. It's the waiting that's so hard and the doubt that they will ever come. But with patience comes a lasting love. Thank you for sharing and reminding us that the future of tomorrow is full of love that completes us and gives us a happiness that no one and nothing can destroy

This is a real nice (and extremely real) descriptions of true love... Finding your other half is the hardest things to do and taking all kind of risks to find out if the person's right for you or not...

There are much more than that, but no need to write more, because you've written pretty much enough...

So, it's all still good tho...

Truth is a very powerful thing. And this is pure truth.
This is a very perceptive piece--how did you come up with it?
I like the purple font, too.

This is such a beautiful narration. It reminds me very much of the narration that's done on the show Grey's Anatomy.

Really enjoyed reading this for many reasons. Coming from different angles and perspectives, is something many writers (even myself) have trouble with. You really placed a nice example of it. I also loved the end; well thought out and very clever. Since you are new, you may not have noticed the 'send read request' option at the top right corner of your work. Be sure to send me some read requests :) thanks for the read!
