My love who I expected to receive a letter

My love who I expected to receive a letter

A Poem by Ed

All I have for you is tears
why would you want to see me

It will be made up to you, and there will be no more indignation
for turning away to the Lord if you'd let me see the trees rather
fixating on your fixation of temporary aesthetic.

God Bless you, But I love you too much to fixate on your aesthetic
and you never wanted to hold hands and look at the trees together.

At least not with me, and its too late.  If you'll admit you have your pride and its not all man's fault, maybe you'll find someone who was like me when you were the most important thing.  And not a thing at all.

My love, who I never knew.  My love, a kiss from where I blew.
My love, who I mourn.       My love with who I never sojourned.

enough to know what you're about

My love who I thought there would be a day for life.
My love, who when I did not know either, did not know Christ.

If you ever were my love, I do not know because you may not know Him at all.

My love who I expected to receive a letter
is dead in my arms covered in what was wings and feathers
