Clarity

Clarity

A Poem by Willow Radcliffe
"

Third poem, again sort of looks at the idea of noise and surroundings, but this time it's slightly different.

"
Sometimes time passes
so quickly that,
I just get so caught up
in the moment.
And when it gets like that,
when everything is blurry
and makes my head hurt,
there are these points
of startling clarity,
when I see her
and everything makes sense.
It's like every time I hear
my favorite song,
and I just feel this
overwhelming calm.
Do you understand that?
When you meet this
perfect person,
and when you look at them,
they're so much brighter
than everyone else?
Because I do,
I absolutely do.

I definitely understand...sometimes all it takes is one positive memory to halt the insanity that time threatens to burden us with...I enjoyed this one very much, it put my mind at ease and brought many of my own positive memories to the surface...nicely done willow :)

This brought a smile to my face. A string of memories that surfaced again, that lay buried somewhere in the quagmire of everday life. Thanks for sharing. :)

Oh this started so well for me I was going yes, yes, then blurry no but the adrenaline and constant energy about to eat me up oh yeah let's rock as If we were going to come to threshold all the way so when you ask in rhetoric Do you understand that? I was going to say I relate a little yes but then curve ball I have been married for 18 - 19 years and perfection went out of the window after 15 sec when I opened my mouth and more often than not I get told off and screamed at and sometimes a might get a kiss but I need to go back way back to recollect that “ true, primal image of her spirit.” so all that is left is faithfullness I guess.

Thankyou Willow
A trip down memory lane.

I love it and the message is so clear. "..and when you look at them,/they're so much brighter/than everyone else? .." and yes, I really understand it. ;)
