You, I Think

You, I Think

A Poem by VJWild
"

a poem

"

I really don’t know you

Other than what I think I know

My observations

Your reactions, unseen

Your silence

Your presence

Water always finds the perfect fit

Perfection is perception

And I think you are

Beautiful

Flawed

Perfect

You are you with me

You aim to please

You please to appease

Do you know me?

You never speak your mind

If only you knew the you that I know

If only I knew

Things might be different

could even a we handle
...our selves?

I'm wondering if you speak of yourself in that context we all do, if only I could be this way, do it that way.
Probably why humans are so complex. Like your stuff.

Paul, thank you!
I am really partial to your paradoxes in this poem...
"Beautiful/ Flawed/ Perfect"

The silence...the speaker wishes the other would not try to appease so much...she is wondering if maybe she could love him if he would show himself.
