Farewell to You

Farewell to You

A Poem by VKS

There was a time when you were my light,
I'd be shining so bright
but now you're so ever dull
like a decayed and rotten skull
How did your heart become so cold?
I suppose that happens when you're sold
by cheap ridden money
What happened to that sunny
disposition that you once would laugh
alas, it's now your deafened half
One in the same is what we once were
Yet now I wonder, are you even here?
So long, my wren
I don't know when
i've seen you last
But you will remain a figment of my past
